Retro Glamour Cardigan Clips

With the utmost joy and delight I’d like to welcome back one of my most favorite accessories and looks of a bygone era, that of the Cardigan Clip. What is a cardigan clip, you might ask? Cardigan clips are notably a nifty fashionable accessory born in the 1950’s and survived through the 1960’s.

They are a lovely addition to any cardigan. They attach to each side of the top of your sweater and are roped together with a chain or string of beads. You may have seen these delightful things on some popular Television shows such as Mad Men or Glee. Open any spread of this seasons fashion magazines and you will notice that the retro glam of the 1940’s, 1950’s, and 1960’s are coming back with a vengeance. It is time to dress up once more, and abandon your sweat pants and old college T-shirts and trade them in for some retro glamour and vintage fun.
