Flourish

Watch your thoughts: They become your words.
Watch your words: They become your actions.
Watch your actions: They become your habits.
Watch your habits: They become your character.
Watch your character: It becomes your destiny.

How very true this is. It’s perplexing to think of how negative our mind sets are and we don’t know it- a constant stream of negative thoughts, feelings and self talk.  Imagine if there were an automatic list generated for us at the end of each day, with every negative thought we’ve had- against ourselves or someone else. I’ve actually attempted to do this one day- I jotted down each negative thought that passed through my mind-I got to about mid afternoon and was quite disgusted-and I don’t even think I am that much of a negative person so to speak. As beings of energy, it was at that point I decided that I did not want to vibrate on such a low frequency. Negative thinking is part of the stagnation that keeps us from flourishing as human beings. It is our very own, self created purgatory, that we CHOOSE (yes choose- to live in because each day we alone have the power to change it but most often do not). One has to make the conscious decision to replace these negative thoughts with positive ones. If you do not think it is important enough to think positively about your own life- certainly no one else will. They are all busy living their own lives and occupied with their own thoughts.

The power of positive thinking will inspire others. I am so grateful that I get to see it every day. It is a chain reaction that continues to perpetuate.  Plant a positive seed in someone’s head today and see where it goes. Not everyone will be receptive- but you will be pleasantly surprised at those who are.

Here is to a Flourishing day!
