Love and Light

Love must be as much a light, as it is a flame.
~Henry David Thoreau

When we think of love, most of us automatically think of the romantic assortment- which is in and of itself, fabulous, beautiful and divine. Romantic love is one of the world’s natural marvels and mysteries. It has inspired millions of song, poets and has fueled countless feuds and wars. Many times this flame burns out of control. This is where Love also needs to be as much a light as it it’s a flame. The light is the endless love and motivation. It is the devout inspiration that you know is available to you when you need it most. It is the late night phone call to a friend when you feel your feeling lost and hopeless. The friend who is there to lend a kind word- not just provides a one up comparison story. The friends who will drop their issues momentarily to listen and focus on yours and then provide true words of inspiration- the exact thing you needed to hear so that you can progress forward in a positive light. This is the selfless light of love. We all need it, and all need to also provide it for others. True love and light brings out the best in people. It should cultivate the best out of one’s self and others- a common goal of attaining the highest positive energy form; true wishes for success and well-being of others.

I give extreme thanks to all of my light and my love.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday filled with great things!
