Positive Thoughts Wednesday

“True justice is paying only once for each mistake. True injustice is paying more than once for each mistake.”

― Don Miguel Ruiz

I love this quote because it is true in several aspects. It allows us to free ourselves from endless drama and suffering. It is about forgiveness and moving forward. How often do we repeatedly punish ourselves for something? Even more so- how often do we hold grudges and choose to refuse to move forward with people being angry and refusing to forgive?
This anger and resentment not only punishes the person it is aimed at, but is detrimental to ourselves. We have the power to resolve matters and create forgiveness- which benefits not only the other person, but ourselves as well. We alone have the power to stop the injustice of repeatedly making people pay for mistakes over and over, ourselves included. Choose to forgive, learn from the matter and move forward in love and light.
We have the power to create the reality we want to live. We may not be able to control what happens to us or how people treat us. But we do have a choice on how we react to it.
Hope everyone has a positive and productive day today.
