After the Game...

After the game, the King and the Pawn go into the same box.

 – Italian Proverb

Something to ponder- we all come from the same energy source, are made of that very same energy and return the same source. No matter where you believe that is , what you call it, or ponder its origins and what it is made out of, Energy never dies- it merely changes type of form. It still exists and all originates from one place.

As we sometimes detach ourselves from humanity or certain individuals for various reasons, merited or not, we exist from the same material and all have that in common. Not everyone chooses to value the good or the positive. Some choose to perpetuate sadness, drama and negativity. But since we are all present in this life, we might as well make it worth some sort of while. If you expect respect and kindness from others- display it yourself. If you want people to behave in a certain moral or ethical manner- behave that way yourself no matter what the circumstances, even if you the only one.

The subpar actions of those around you should never motivate you to lose interest in doing your best or making great examples of what society can be. It is the stooping of this higher standard, to the existing of this lower subpar standard that brings society down as a whole. It is not necessarily the subpar participants in and of themselves, but their actions (or inactions in many cases) motivating you to join their less than standard existence-this is the real loss. Leading by example is the only authentic motivator. Let your life be your statement to the world- this removes any questions of hypocrisy. Actions always speak louder than words.

Hope everyone is having a successful Tuesday!
