Life will give you whatever experiences most helpful

“Life will give you whatever experiences most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness. How do you know this is the experience you need? Because this is the experience you are having at the moment.” – Eckhart Tolle

In my twenty plus years of being a spiritual mystic, I can account that some years have been happier than others. The happier years have been the years I have been more consciously aware. As a student of spirituality I know that some of my years have been spent unconsciously aware. These were the years that I knew about awareness of life and its lessons, but was not implementing the awareness. I had the tools readily available, and yet I did not use them. I use these years of anxiety, stress and depression as a guide for gauging the drastic difference between consciously aware and consciously unaware. The difference is night and day. Try doing something in the dark- and you will get a picture of what I am trying to describe. It certainly cannot be done with the same way when there is light. The darkness causes frustration and anger that continues from its point of origin into wherever it can get to-every corner of your mind and every interpretation of reality around you. Conscious awareness- or awakened minds- can navigate better than those without it- and with much more ease. I can say this because I have done stints of both- for years. My preference every day of the week is to be aware or awakened. In the awakened state, I am aware that every experience I am a part of is there for my growth and for learning. Whether it’s good, bad or ugly- I know that the experience presented is a beautiful chance for me to excel and help those along the way in whatever ways I can. In the awakened state I know how beautiful life is in its every moment. More things are going right in my life and in the world, than there are things that are going wrong. Every moment is an opportunity to be aware, to appreciate, to express gratitude for what is. Whatever comes to you- greet it as an opportunity to grow and to learn. There are not problems in life- only interesting challenges which you will meet with awareness- and that, ladies and gentlemen is the cutting edge over all else! Love the NOW. xoxo

GROW OR GO HOME

We have total freedom from birth to face up to our potential and give meaning to our own lives, no matter what has happened to us or around us. Each day is a new day- a new beginning and we are given an opportunity every moment to make the conscious decision to strive for self-actualization- fulfilling our potential with goodness and growth. Each day we are also given the conscious choice to or shrink away from responsibility choosing to view ourselves as helpless victims of circumstance and our environment and live empty inauthentic and dysfunction lives as a result. The decision is yours. We here at GOGH are here to help inspire those who enjoy the positive energy and enjoy being alive, and to those who need to hear an inspirational word when we are thirsty for encouragement and doing better. Dark times lie in every individual and are part of life and a part of growing. GOGH to inspire and be inspired.

GOGHers are those who have an active interest in growing and learning and developing the positive attitude and outlook it takes to make this the best life it can be. We are dedicated to the personal and spiritual growth of those who wish to better and enjoy life in the present moment. Happiness is always an active choice and an inside job. Each of us determines our own weather and we are not driven by the outside circumstances of life. Life is 10% of what is happening and 90% the way we CHOOSE to react to it.
That which holds us back: Service to the self and the pursuit of activities that support our human existence: Material things, status, wealth, power, preoccupation of the self, judgment of the self and of others—all driven by the EGO.
That which propels us into greatness: A commitment to promoting others achieving a positive reality along with one’s own. Information is shared freely and lovingly. Lack of ego satisfaction, Personal journeys are recognized and valued. Love and positive light is seen in all things. Individuals seek to radiate unconditional love. Each individual is responsible for individual and collective growth and strive for community growth and progress; setting positive examples and being responsible for the energy each of us carries with us. Each of us have the ability to create positivity everywhere we go and to each person we encounter. You never know the impact your kindness has on another, even if it is never made aware to you. There are no limits to your greatness. Be the person you want to meet.

GOALS TUESDAY

“If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time.” ― Zig Ziglar

What are you aiming for? Do you know? It is said that most goals that are never written down are never achieved. The way to happiness is to meet your goals- but first you have to have them. What do you want out of life? REVIEW each area of your life and consider what you want from each area. Then- write those goals down. GOALS AREAS- Family, personal relationships, career, financial, education, spiritual, social, physical, self enrichment, house/home, creative/artistic. What are your lifetime goals? 10 year goals? 5 year, 2 year, 1 year, quarterly, monthly, weekly, daily??? As Zig Ziglar says, do you want to be a wandering generality or a meaningful specific? Get specific on your goals and your dreams and make them the target you aim for.

Zeroing in on your Targets

Zeroing in on your Targets

Affirmations and goals play an important part of how successful and happy we are. We all have an

idea in mind of what we want in our lives, but more often than not we never put those thoughts

and ideals down to paper. If we put our objectives down in written form, we create a clear

concise ideal of what we want to attract into reality. Writing these things down makes them

official and revisiting these ideals (suggested daily, or at least weekly) puts us all closer to the

goals and dreams we aspire to- since what we think and speak about we attract. The powers of

our thoughts and words have a tendency to attract to us those very things. Be sure that your

thoughts and words are worthwhile and good ones- why focus on any other type? Unless of

course you wish to attract what you are thinking about.  Involved a few of your positive peeps to

join you in this, and help each other keep track of your affirmations and goals. Surround yourself

with positive like-minded people and help each other stay on course.

The Journey

A good traveler has no fixed plans,

and is not intent on arriving. - Lao Tzu

Most of us live a life of thoughts of the past or of the future. Many of these thoughts and ideas are of our fears, regrets and disappointments.

The past can be a detriment to the way you currently live your life. Do not let the fears of a repeated past, bad experience or memory hinder your present or future. The past can be viewed as a gift of valuable lessons and experiences that have molded you into a better person, if you choose to view it that way. The choice is ultimately yours.

The future is inevitable, and always on its way. Embrace the future with positive thoughts and expectation to attract the best possible scenarios the universe can hand out to you. It is good to make plans and have goals, but don’t forget that the present moment is all that is ever available to us. Don’t forget to live each day and enjoy what is now. None of us are guaranteed the future.

How many of us live in the present moment, enjoying the journey?

We are lucky to have the present time to be alive, aware and present. Most of life isn’t filled with huge events and milestones- it is often filled with tiny moments we deem insignificant, but these are the moments that fill up most of a life time. Enjoy the little things life has to offer. That great cup of coffee, the car that let you pass giving the friendly wave, spending time with a great person- the list is endless of the good things that do happen each day. When we become less obsessed with thoughts and being self-absorbed in our own minds, we can really become present in living in the current moments of our lives. We are all here to learn and grow and enjoy life. Happiness is attainable by choice, living presently and seeing the greatness in the little details that make up the whole. Enjoy the journey.

Extras for Vision Boards

I just came across these great blank checks to fill out to yourself or someone you feel might need it. Fill one out and have faith that you will be provided with what you need. Great for vision boards, prayers and meditations to ask for abundance to manifest in your life.

Have fun with it an give it a whirl, see if it works for you. No harm, no foul if it is done with the best intentions for all involved. We loose our games of pretend as we grow into adults and stop having faith and believing in the impossible.

You may even make a few bucks! Who knows. Children have such a vibrant energy because they believe in the unattainable. As adults we loose it, and we become stunted because we lack that great ballance of imagination with our realities.
